- I have the same problem with a GVC 14.4 installed in an Aptiva. I
- talked to Maxcorp ( GVC's manufacturer ) but they would not give me
- any info as they claimed that the modem was manufactured for IBM. Of
- course IBM knows very little about these modems ( after 60 minutes
- waiting on the "help?line" ) I use "&F&C1&D2&D3" and it seems to work
- well with everything except Hayes modems at my ISP. Maxcorp has
- strings on their website - you might even be able to identify your
- modem. Try them at " http://www.maxcorp.com ".
